This weekend’s 46th Historic Sportscar Racing Mitty event at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta features nearly 300 entries showcasing a wide range of vintage and historic sports cars, stock cars, and open-wheel racing machines. Among the highlights is the Cars of Japan celebration, with over 40 entries dedicated to this year’s featured marque. The event includes the Cars of Japan Feature Race, one of the many exciting races scheduled for the weekend. The HSR Mitty has a history of successful showcases, such as last year’s 75 Years of NASCAR and the previous year’s spotlight on Sports 2000. The event promises a strong competitor turnout and large spectator attendance, following the success of March’s HSR Spring Fling at Sebring International Raceway. Additionally, the weekend will feature the HSR Prototype Challenge presented by IMSA, culminating in a thrilling two-hour race with top contenders vying for victory.
